Name of the study program Undergraduate Academic Studies in Engineering Management (TTN), lasting four years (eight semesters), earning 240 ECTS credits.
It contains all elements established by the Law on Higher Education and the standards for accreditation of study programs; the structure of the study program is aligned with higher education institutions in the country and abroad, it is based on the Bologna Declaration and is in accordance with the requirements arising from the practical application of modern scientific knowledge in the field of management and business.
The total number of courses in the study program is 35; the number of courses a student must pass is 32, the number of compulsory courses is 25, the number of elective courses is 14, of which a student takes 7. Compulsory are Professional Practice, Research contained in the final thesis, and the Final Thesis – preparation and defense.
The main goal of the study program of Undergraduate Academic Studies (OAS) in Engineering Management is the education of graduate managers, who acquire a wide range of knowledge and skills in the field of management, the development of practical skills and creative managerial abilities for analyzing and eliminating management problems, the development of abilities for critical understanding and the application of critical thinking in managerial practice; the development of qualities needed for teamwork, innovativeness, cooperativeness and communication with others at work, a high level of business culture and business communication, a positive attitude towards further improvement of knowledge in all forms of professional activity, for continuing studies at a higher level of education; competent to perform jobs in the economy and service sector, public and private sector.
By completing the study program of OAS Engineering Management, a student acquires the following general abilities:
analysis of the situation, synthesis of collected data, successful prediction of consequences and adoption of adequate solutions in the field of management;
mastery of methods and processes of research in the field of management;
critical and self-critical reflection and adoption of an objective attitude towards any situation encountered in business practice;
application of acquired knowledge in specific circumstances in the field of management;
teamwork and business communication with associates;
adequate manner of expression and use of adequate managerial terminology;
independent judgment, initiative and making valid decisions in economic and other organizations and institutions in which they will work;
to be reflective and reflexive thinkers;
cooperation with the immediate social and international environment;

to inform the professional and general public about their work and work results.
