Belgrade School of Engineering Management Representatives Attend IPO World Congress 2026

Rector Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomasevic of Beopolis University, together with Prof. Dr. Ilija Zivotic, attended today the IPO World Congress 2026, held at the Splendid Conference Resort in Budva, Montenegro.

Organized by the International Police Organization (IPO) in cooperation with the Emergency Response & Awareness Conference (ERAC), the event brought together international professionals, experts, institutions and organizations working in the fields of security, emergency response and public safety. The programme included discussions on hybrid threats, expert presentations and opportunities for international professional networking.

Participation in the Congress is particularly relevant to the Belgrade School of Engineering Management, where the intersection of engineering, management, risk, organizational resilience and emerging security challenges represents an important area of contemporary professional education. The exchange of knowledge and experience at events such as IPO World Congress provides valuable perspectives for understanding how organizations can prepare for complex risks, manage crises and strengthen resilience.

The participation of the University’s leadership and academic representatives also supports Beopolis University’s commitment to international cooperation, professional networking and the continued development of practical, interdisciplinary education relevant to today’s rapidly changing security and organizational environment.
